Hardwire to EXT control?
Is it possible to control start stop and focus on an Alexa mini hardwired with an Lbus to seven pin Arri EXT cable (scubacam)? Or can only a Hi5 or WCU4 do this?

Prepping for an Arm-car shoot, want to use my CPRO+ but I hear the digital control desk for the Matrix head only takes Preston protocol, has anyone worked around this?
Am I right to assume the Flight Head Adapter by Cmotion will do the same trick, even though it's not a Filmotechnic head?

Hi All,
I'm having a weird issue with a Ronin build that I haven't been able to troubleshoot. The iris seems to jump back and forth to set values on occasion. Focus handset is set to OFF. Iris handset has control of the motor. When I set focus handset to control iris the problem goes away.
Set up is as follows:
Ronin 2 power out to LCUBE-1 CUB-1
Ronin 2 power to Teradek 3000xt
From LCUBE CUB-1
Yesterday I updated my Cmotion hand unit and rf motor to the new V6.0.2 firmware from Cmotion. Everything updated correctly except for my Camin which after updating turned off and wont turn back on. I had this same issue when trying to update to V6.0 last year as well.
When powering the Camin and attaching a cforce mini motor via the LBUS port the mini motor receives power, however the Camin still appears off with no lights or screen. Has anyone ran into this?
If you connect the camin to the hand unit's lbus port, does the hand unit still recognize the camin as an lbus device to reflash the firmware?

Spoke with one of the leading matrix techs and he said “to the best of my knowledge its only Preston. one of ours is a Filmotechnic Desk but made to work w/ the Matrix, so not sure that adapter would work.”
