USBC device charging on focus station

Hey, I wanna ask what sort of solutions people are running for phone charging etc on their setups. On my Cine 13" I used to run an Aliexpress barrel plug to USBC 60W adapter, going 2-pin to barrel plug out of the monitor. Now the problem is that it stopped working after four years, and I can't find it anymore. They now all either have dtap, or dont do PD. I know rencher makes a nice one, but I wanna hear if anyone else have come up with a cheaper solution? Would love to not have to buy a shape one with dtap, and solder on a 2-pin myself. It has to be PD, as i use it to charge a bunch of different stuff, not just my phone. Pic from a recent shoot

Looking for Teradek Bolt 6 thread

Hello all,

I’m looking to see if there’s a pre-existing thread or area for discussion of the Teradek Bolt 6 system. Can anyone point me in that direction?

Pre-marked focus ring

Hello everyone, I just have a question.

I need to doing my own pre-marked focus ring for more than one kit of lenses like "canon cine- master prime- ultra prime- cook lenses -..."

Does anyone knows how can I get the scales of focus feet by a fast way ?

Not sure I follow. Without mapping each lens you can’t use the premarked rings. If you want to make your own - you’d have to use use blank ring and make one for each lens

But even then, you’d have to map each lens.

I’ve used the % scale of the handset which gives you a three digit number for any value.

Then plotted the points I wanted on a 240mm scale (the length of the throw of the knob) but this is very time consuming. I’ve done it for iris rings

Focus Station Rain Covers

I have run into sudden rain quite frequently on recent shoots and haven't worked out the perfect solution to weatherproof my gear. When I work on a run and gun shoot, I love my Harrison FIZ Rain Cover and am good to go with it.

For my 13" Monitor I just bought a big Umbrella that I will grip to my stand and I hope that it covers most of it.

Small Handheld Monitors usually just get a shower cap, but I have had Directors that kept pulling them off resulting in broken monitors.

What are your go to solutions? Possibly even with pictures.

@Karl Walsh That‘s a great idea! Simple but very effective. I love it!
