Hi everyone,
Quick question: almost since I bought my CineRT ( almost 2 years ago now) the velvety adhesive tape which avoids friction between the horns (base sensor) and the little binocular's shape protection has always been wrinkled.
Now that they need replacement, what kind of tape or material have you used instead? Did you have the same problem as I do?
Also, what kind of glue would you use to attached the metal grille and the spongy material which protects the base sensor from getting dirt? They have become detached overtime.
Thanks!

Hi All! The product we use is: Low pile velvet fabric w/ adhesive.
McMaster Carr, part # 88015K2
There’s no specific webpage for the part, so you have to go to their webpage (https://www.mcmaster.com) and search the part # 88015K2.
We don't use an adhesive between to affix the foam filter insert to the screen. The filter should friction fit, sandwiched between the screen and the horns inside the housing.
Cheers,
Laird
