I have used the Semote on the Venice for the past two years, and it’s been really solid, based on a 915MHz (I believe) frequency as opposed to wifi so it has been a lot more reliable for me and it works very quick. You still need to plug the Semote transmitter into the Ethernet port on the camera tho, but with the module it will wirelessly work to the handset as well…and if you wanted to you can also hardwire the Ethernet to the handset too.
