Alexa35 camera control with cPRO - will it work with a CAM-Lbus cable? I see they dropped the EXT port.

Hello all,
here a few answers to the most frequently asked questions:
Camera Control:
ARRI Alexa 35 will offer the existing camera control features of Alexa Mini / Mini LF through the LBUS interface instead of the EXT port.
[K2.0015760] Cable CAM (7p) - LBUS has to be used to enable camera control on ARRI Alexa 35 using cPRO.
cPRO motor / cPRO camin SW update will be needed, which is expected in Q4 2022.
SERIAL port on the ARRI Alexa 35:
Using an ARRI LCS, the SERIAL port on the ARRI Alexa 35 can be used to connect 3rd party rangefinders directly to the daisy chain without using an LCUBE-1.
However, the SERIAL port is not compatible with cPRO with the current camera release.
A timeline for an ARRI Alexa 35 software update, including that feature is not determined yet.
Anyways, cPRO users will achieve existing compatibility using the current workflow with a LCUBE-1.
RS Voltage:
the cPro motor and also the cforce mini RF motor can take 12V-34V.
With the currently released firmware version, the "over voltage" warning is activated at 32V.
The warning will be set to 34V in the next update.
